CRYOGAS is dedicated to promoting the development of LNG towards a carbon-neutral future. The company invests in the "Cold Energy" project, which introduces a unique LNG Cold Energy Cascade System (CES-ORC-DC-LNG). This system integrates Cryogenic Energy Storage (CES), Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), and Direct Cooling (DC). The system enables the recycling of LNG cold energy across low, medium, and high-temperature ranges, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Currently, 99.9% of LNG regasification terminals release valuable cold energy into the sea, resulting in significant energy losses. CRYOGAS offers an innovative regasification method that includes power generation and cryogenic energy storage. This approach enables the harvesting and direct local use of LNG cold energy. It presents a business concept with substantial potential for efficiently utilizing LNG cold energy.

Without More Electricity, We Are Forced to Forego Investments
According to the latest Business Panel from the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise:
"It is the business sector that leads the green transition, and the demand for electricity will more than double by 2045. Therefore, we need all the fossil-free electricity we can get," says Jan-Olof Jacke, CEO of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
54 percent of companies that see an increased need for electricity will forego or postpone investments if their electricity needs cannot be met. 52 percent estimate that production will stagnate or decrease, and 41 percent believe that climate efforts will be hindered.
This clearly shows how crucial more electricity is for Sweden to manage the green transition," says Jan-Olof Jacke, CEO of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
Swedish companies have great potential to lead the transition and create climate benefits both domestically and globally through exports, he argues.
"The investments in the climate transition will happen. The question is whether they will take place here in Sweden or somewhere else. I hope that Sweden can continue to be a pioneering country," says Jan-Olof Jacke.
